How to Create a Remote Phonebook
Microsoft Access is a database that you can use to create a personal phone book. In Access, a phone book is a report you can customize to display the contact information for your family, friends, and business associates. You can customize your phone book to include such information as first name, last name, address, phone numbers, and email address. Access supplies you with several templates that make it easier for you to create a phone book. You can use a template as is or modify it to meet your specific requirements.
Before you can begin you need to decide what fields you wish to include in our address book. You are creating four fields. You will use the number as a unique ID for each entry when editing or deleting. Before you can do anything, you need to connect to the database. We have also included an HTML title for the address book. Be sure to replace your host address, username, and password with the appropriate values for your server. Since you are using the same PHP page to do everything, you will make it so that different 'modes' show different options.
