The doctrine of Imamah from a Sunni perspective

However the history proves it otherwise. Kaysaniyyah: They were the Shia of Ali who believed that Muhammab ibn Hanafiyyah, the son of Ali from a hanafi woman was the rightful Imam of his time. The Shias infact deserted him in battle field when he stood up against the tyrant rulers of his time because he did not believe that Omar and Abu Bakr ra were apostates. However when he died soon, the shias divided into many sects, some claiming his son to be the Imam stating that Imamat continues in the progeny and can not be transferred to the brother after Hasan and Husayn, where as some claimed his younger brother Musa Al Kazim to be the next Imam 12 er Shia. This chart explains their divisions. All these shia sects are agreed upon the initial historical events which a 12er shia presents to you such as Ghadir Khumm, Story of Pen and Paper, the issue of Fadak and all the topics a 12er loves to discuss with the sunnis.

Shia k 12 Imam ki daleel -- Syed Ali Raza Rizvi

The Twelve Imams are the spiritual and political successors to the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the Twelver or Athnā'ashariyyah branch of Shia Islam.

12 Imam A.S(Urdu Islamic Book)

It is most popular among Twelver Shiites , as they interpret the prophecy was fulfilled by The Twelve Imams. The hadith classified as Sahih is widely accepted by all Muslims but its interpretation varies heavily. According to the prophecy there will reign twelve caliphs —presumably the first being crowned upon Muhammad's death—and after which the caliphate would cease to exist and mark the beginning of the judgement day or armageddon. It is stated that all twelve caliphs will be from the tribe of Quraysh. Interpretation of the hadith varies widely among Sunni scholars; some have openly claimed that they do not know the meaning.

The hadith of the twelve successors, or twelve caliphs is an Islamic prophecy, attributed to Imam Muslim on Sahih Muslim wrote: Rasulullah s.a.w said: "This religion Two hadiths form the basis and understanding of the 12 successors of The following references are taken from the “sahih” books of Sunni Muslims.

The ability of the Imams to raise the dead [7]: The Imams meeting with angels [8]: All the deeds of men are presented before Imams [9]: The role of Imam as during Laylatul Qadr Night of Power [10]: The knowledge of unseen in respect of knowing the death of others [11]: The Imams knowing the time of their death and having authority over it [12]: The Imams knowledge over whether a person is destined for Heaven or Hell. Could this Nasibi tell us how modern man has knowledge of how a telephone system operates when you were not alive during the time of its founder Thomas Edison? The answer is this knowledge was then passed on through the generations, so that even simpletons like the Islamweb writers possess a general understanding of the telephone. This is what is called the transference of knowledge through the generations. When such individuals narrated these Hadith were they committing shirk, since they possessed ghayb, as they had never seen the Prophet s? Clearly not, the teachings of the Prophet s had been passed on to them by their father, forefather, their teachers etc! Likewise knowledge that was possessed by Prophets and Messengers was not just hidden away in their minds.

They are seen as divinely guided leaders and are the holiest people in Islam Religion. They are known as Ahlulbayt meaning the people of the household and the first five of the twelve imams are particularly significant, and they are Prophet Muhammad, Imam Ali, Fatima al-Zahra, Imam Hassan, and Imam Husayn. These holy people helped Prophet Mohammed and guided the Muslim community after the death of the prophet. The other nine Imams continued to guide the community and in particular through scholarship and divine guidance. All Muslims respect the twelve imams because they were divinely ordained and their knowledge and piety are considered exemplary.

Yet again this lying Nasibi is making a claim without any foundation. If the terms Imam are not used for Abu Bakr and Umar it is because they never viewed themselves as Imams nor did Rasulullah s view them as such. An Imam under Arabic terminology is one who leads and a Khalifah is one who follows. If their own failings as Imams are proven it does in any way mean that no one can else can be referred to as Imam. Nasibi have no correlation with piety.
