After Toy Story became the highest-grossing film of , it was clear that Disney and Pixar would try to make a sequel to the first-ever feature-length computer-animated film. This year marked the 20th Anniversary of Toy Story 2, but there are some things about the movie that may still surprise you. Disney wanted Pixar to make it an hour-long home release movie to cut costs, but Pixar fought to make it a feature-length film. Even after it was decided to give Toy Story 2 a theatrical release, the development still ran into trouble since Pixar struggled to find a story for the film. They found a solution in creating Jessie, which ultimately gave Woody a tougher decision to make.

When Buzz Lightyear is left behind at a fast food restaurant Woody and the gang must devise a way to rescue their friend. Woody and Buzz lead a group of toys in giving Ken and Barbie the Hawaiian vacation of their dreams. Woody is a cowboy doll although the preferred term is "action figure". As the toys' leader, and despite his fears to the contrary, he's always been Andy's favorite—no matter what new playthings enter the picture. Buzz Lightyear's sole mission used to be defeating Emperor Zurg, but what he now cares about most is keeping his toy family together. Rex may look like the most fearsome dinosaur in the toy box, but this green Tyrannosaurus is one of the most lovable toys of the bunch. Despite his endless worrying and insecurities about his small roar, Rex always comes through for his pals.

Toy Story is a computer animated Disney media franchise that commenced in with the release of the animated film of the same name , produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
