Packaging was excellent -- no damage at all to neither the product nor the shipping box. It took 4 - 5 hrs to assemble I am not a speed demon. Directions were clear, logical, and easy to follow. I have 2 other pieces of Sauder furniture -- a corner desk, and a tv stand.
